Miss International 2022: Peruvian Tatiana Calmell Won Third Place in the Contest

The Peruvian model Tatiana Calmell Del Solar (28) was positioned as the second finalist (third place) in the contest Miss International 2022. The event, which crowned the German Jasmine Selberg, took place this December 13 in the Municipal Hall of the imposing Tokyo Dome (Japan).

The representative of Peru had an outstanding participation in the preliminary phase of the contest. In addition, for the National Costume parade, Calmell wore a white sailor outfit along with a headdress of red roses.

On the final night, Tatiana Calmell paraded in a bathing suit and evening dress. After that, she advanced to the Top 5. “For the first time since 1967 Peru enters the top 5 and is crowned as a princess taking the position of second finalist, Tati you have made us dream of the international crown of Miss International, thank you for your effort and delivery”, expressed the Miss Peru Organization on Instagram.

They also stressed that the young model allowed them to “vibrate, dream and live every step with you, queen, thank you for your dedication and commitment. We are very proud of you and the entire team that accompanied you in this long preparation process”.

It should be remembered that Tatiana Calmell traveled to Japan at the end of November to participate in the Miss International 2022 pageant, where she competed with more than sixty candidates from around the world. Through social networks, the model shared her excitement for taking on this challenge.

“Peru️, the time is now!!!!!!!! The time has finally come, I am already heading to Tokyo for the 60th edition of Miss International. Today begins this journey that I am sure will be unforgettable!!!!! Thank you all for so much love, my heart is happy and it really is an enormous pride to be able to represent my Peru. Let’s go!!!!!”he wrote on Instagram.
